A Piece of Rainbows

Can’t believe that we are almost at the end of September! We are already past 6 months staying at home and must say that we all did and are doing a great job this year. We have been through so much emotionally, financially, and physically, that we all need that pat on our back for making it through and not for losing hope. Well, getting to the other side, Fall is here and it’s starting to get darker and colder outside. We missed Fall last year, so I’m definitely a little more excited and am looking forward to seeing the city turn colorful!

Fall is my favorite season, coz it reminds us how beautiful it is to let things go. We start welcoming change from the dark skies, longer nights, and warmer tones all around. With all the gloomy signs around, I usually like to shift to neutrals or blacks in my wardrobe. But there are special days, where all I think of is Rainbows, bright colors, brighter smiles that reflect my exact happy state of mind (the weather might have played a hand in it too!)

Here I am translating that joy of colors into my outfit with this ‘Piece of Rainbows’! This trumpet sleeves ink-blue dress, is definitely a recent favorite and a joyful piece, channeling some old-school vibes. I personally connect to the idea of shopping small and customizing my outfits, and my hunt leads me to this another home-grown brand ‘Jasthi Clothing’ based out of Hyderabad (India). They have some fun and colorful collection, and amazing customer service. I have reached them out on Instagram and was very pleased with their response from the time I inquired about the outfits till I got them delivered. Now coming to the styling, I prefer effortless looks and with so much color and joy this outfit brings, all I had to do was pair it with the right accessories. I paired them with beige pumps and gold accessories to complement the bright colors. And I toned everything down by going with simple and light makeup.
