Summer Style Saga – Look 2

Hi again! I’m back with a new post for the Summer series as promised. If you haven’t checked my first look then you can find it here. If you know my style, I am a sucker for comfortable and breathable outfits. Unfortunately, I cannot wear such clothes during Winters in Fort Collins, so I make the best use of the Summer time and try to say good bye to my Denims and any other body hugging outfits. as much as I can.

Talking about Summers and breathable outfits, how can we not talk about the Linen Fabrics. It is by far the best fabric you can own that lets your body breathe and it’s abilities to quickly absorb and evaporate moisture, act like a cooling system in those super warm days. And the best part of it is that, it is 100% plant based and sustainable. And yes, I have been taking my baby steps towards a more sustainable lifestyle and I’ve talked about it in my previous posts (which you can find here).

The Sustainable lifestyles, have been getting a lot of attention these days that a lot of brands/stores are taking their part to help us find eco-friendly products. We are also responsible to contribute and encourage such brilliant moves and help protect our environment. And if you are planning to make that move, now is the right time. During the Summer time, a lot of brands come up with more stylish and pretty linen collection which you could choose from.

Now that I have given enough arm-chair wisdom 😉 lets go into the details of my outfit. And my today’s outfit is a Cropped Linen Jumpsuit. I wore this recently in my trip to San Diego, the last memorial weekend. It is in this peculiar shade of blue which caught my eyes, and it comes with a halter neck and a zip up detail at the back, a belt on the waist. It was cute by itself, but I went with a little layering and added a white wrap around crop top underneath it 🙂 I think the combination made the outfit look more cute. It was the perfect vacation kind of outfit! Cute, easy and comfortable to travel in!

I added my brass earring, went with a bright lip, loose hair and my favorite pair of white sneakers (not obvious for a beach, but I didn’t want to hurt my legs from walking). I would replace the sneakers with a some white espadrilles or flats, if I’m going on a casual day out. The best part of the look is the versatility.

With the light shades and simple details, it would be perfect for any casual event – like a work day, a shopping day or even a weekend brunch outfit! You can always add on accessories to dress up/down. I got this Jumpsuit at the Banana Republic outlet stores at a better deal (almost at a half price than in the links) and I couldn’t find the jumpsuit in the same color online. However, I have linked the jumpsuit in different colors and also some other Jumpsuits I loved from their collection. So scroll down to find shoppable links and more pictures of me.
