How was your week? Mine was all good. We had a huge Winter Storm this Wednesday, but it’s getting better and warm enough to melt the snow. I’m hoping the weather would be fine by the weekend. Last weekend was the first weekend this year where the temperatures were very pleasant and warm. It kind of gave me all the Spring vibes 🙂 I was actually able to go out without any of my Winter wear, and it was a great sign of change from the gloomy winter weekends.
I and my friend have this habit of driving down to Denver(which is like an hour drive from our place) during the weekends whenever possible. But this winter,I think we went down there like once or may be twice. There is an Indian Temple down in Denver and we go there mostly once in a month, so we thought it was a good place to go and then went to get some lunch and a little shopping.
So I took this dress out, which I got from India and it was perfect the climate. I got this Batik print cotton dress material when I was back at home in Vizag (India), got it stitched from Le Svana 🙂 The bottom for this set was printed, but I wanted something plain but I couldn’t find a right legging that would match the shade in the short time. I remembered I had this Ink blue skirt that I got from Faballey – Indya collection, a couple of seasons ago and I was sure that it would go very well with it. Because it was still a little cold to wear the skirt alone, I added some thermals underneath so I could still stay warm 🙂 Silver/Metal jewelry in general is trending lately, so I finished off my look with a pair of brass earrings I got from TheLoom ! It’s a really great website with some amazing handcrafted Indian collection and if you love those kind of collection, you must checkout the collection. I was feeling super pretty and happy, with this outfit which obviously you can figure out from my smiles 🙂 Also, would you guys like if I share some more details about my makeup as well? Like what exact shades/products I use? Leave the response in the comments 🙂
Handcrafted pieces are always special and I believe that all of them are made with so much love and hard work, which makes them more valuable and long lasting. So if you are planning to build a wardrobe that is versatile and classy, irrespective of the seasonal trends – Handcrafted ones are the first to opt for! Even though I did not plan it before, but some how this look brought up some of the Handcrafted pieces together and there goes the title. Hope you like the look and don’t forget to share it with your friends if you do! If you have a couple more minutes feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments. Have a great weekend!
Lots of Love,
