The Girl in the Yellow Dress

Hello everyone!

July is already here and to me it just looks like the days are passing by very swiftly. Specially when I talk about myself, I feel like occupied for most of the time with my full-time job, personal life and my blog on top of those. When my friends and followers ask me every time on how I manage all of them, that’s when I realize how good of a multi tasker am I 🙂 And to answer this I’m grateful that everything has been going great so far. I spend most my nights and weekends for blogging. My lifestyle has become such that blogging never feels tiring to me.

I kind of started blogging so I can have some deviation from my routine life. To be frank I’m someone who has to be occupied all the time, if not I get bored and feel crappy. There have been definitely some low moments in my personal life and some hasty schedules at work, and that’s when I kind of take a decent amount of time off blogging. I also try to balance out my absence with my comeback, and that’s certainly because of the people who admire my work and inspire me to do more.

I guess I did blabber a lot about me and my blog now so lets get into today’s look. My love for ethnic wear cannot be rendered in words. I usually get some Indian outfits sent out to me by my sister and parents from India every year. And this is definitely one of my favorite, which I got from Jabong India, for the fact that it can be worn both as a dress and as a salwar when paired up with the right bottoms. Summer is the only time I get to wear dresses here at Denver, so I went with the first option.

The outfit was so perfect by itself that it effortlessly gave me the pop I need with the mustard yellow color & a pretty floral print pattern and I love such pieces. I did add some efforts while doing my makeup and hair. I wanted my makeup to look subtle with a bit of pop so I added a bright reddish pink lip color. I also made a half french-braid hair style and added some beaded earnings that exactly match my dress. I also wanted to add some elegance to my look, so finished it off with navy blue pumps and handbag 🙂 I absolutely loved the outcome of my look and specially my makeup. I felt like I’m getting better with my makeup skills 🙂
