I’ve done a lot of experimenting with my outfits over these years and I think my personal style has evolved that I clearly understand what works best for me. I work in a 9 to 5 position, to which I prefer looking effortlessly elegant and professional, without compromising my comfort levels.
I got this cute shirt dress with drawstrings & some gold detailing, as it looked elegant and felt like my kinda of dress for the Spring. But it was hanging in my wardrobe with its tags for over 2 months now and that’s when I realize how many impulsive purchases I make. There are a few days where I don’t feel like going sleeveless, and that’s when I think of layering my outfits.
I have this habit of decluttering my wardrobe every season, and I try to mix and match the outfits that fit into current style and I giveaway the one’s which I don’t wear anymore 🙂 Today’s look is an outcome of my wardrobe clear out. I felt that this would be a perfect combo in my mind, but I was doubtful on how this might turn out or rather I should say I was more afraid that it might turn out like I’m dressing under age. I’m extremely happy with the outcome and I’m definitely going to save this for my work or a Sunday brunch.
Like I usually say, accessories play a major role in uplifting any look and it’s proven once again. I love how these pair of stilettos added more elegance to the look. I finished off with my usual makeup, added my favorite earrings, a clutch and a pair of recent favorite sunglasses. Comment below your thoughts on the look. Will see you guys super soon with a new post!
