Sweater Season – How To Dress like a Doll?

Winters can appear gloomy and dull for most of the time. It might not be so cold now in all the places, but it is extremely cold in some places round the world. Talking about winters in Colorado, it kind of has been cold lately with the snow and most of the days are cloudy and windy.

There are always reasons to dress up pretty whatever might be the weather outside like. Today’s look is one of those which you can easily carry to day out and look as pretty as a doll. With the Valentine’s day around the corner, this could also be a pretty look you can carry for a date. The mini flare skirts can make you instantly look like a doll when you pair it with the perfect top and accessories.

Going to the details of my look, I have put together a black flared mini skirt with a lavender knit sweater. Over-the-Knee boots can always be your friends specially in the winters to pair up with a skirt. I got these heeled boots with the bow details from Zara and they are extremely comfortable 🙂 You can always add a pair of stockings or skip them based on your wish, but I added them here to escape from the chill winds.

I have then added a black necklace that I got recently from Rocksbox and some matching earrings to it. Next on to the makeup, I’m not an expert but I can do basic makeup and try some tricks to turn it into a glam look 😉 The lip color I’m wearing in the look is Krysten from the Kyle Cosmetics Liquid Matte lipsticks range 🙂

Sweater – Forever 21
