Foods to prevent Hairfall

Hello people!!!!!
I am back with the most requested topic. What foods should we eat in order to reduce Hairfall???
So here are few food items if taken properly in regular diet will never result in hairfall again.
Instead of spending lots of rupees on haircare products. We can invest those in good eating and lifestyle.
Hair follicles are made up of protein. We have to see that proper amounts of Protein and Iron content are maintained properly in our daily food intake.
All these foods are available in our homes but we keep ignoring them all the time.

They are high in Protein,Biotin ,Vitamin B and calcium. All these help in reducing hairfall.
So eat around 2-3 egg white’s every day.

They have all the Unsaturated Fats and Nutrients that makes sure the hair look healthier from inside.
I eat almonds, walnuts, raisins each 10 count every day.

Dry fruits

3.Iron Rich food:
In order to increase the Hemoglobin percentage we need Iron as it helps in production of HB.
Foods for Iron:
1.Jaggery/Bellam (Use it instead of sugar)
4.Dark chocolate

These days 75% of women have very less amounts of Hemoglobin percentage which results in heavy hairfall. So,to overcome that maintain a proper diet.
You do not have to eat differently than your routine just a few add on’s to the regular food will help in increasing your hemoglobin.
Foods to increase HB:
1.Leafy vegetables(Spinach,Amaranths etc)
3.Vitamin C (oranges,lemons,strawberry etc)
4.Eat Iron rich food (refer point 3)
5.Regularly have beetroot,carrot juice.

Always prefer organic shampoos or sulphate free shampoos as they do not damage your scalp.
Too much chemicals can also damage the hair follicles and scalp.
Few organic shampoos that i use:
1. Body Shop Banana Shampoo
2.Acure Ultra Hydrating Shampoo
3.Avalon Volumizing Rosemary Shampoo,
4.The Tree to Tub Soapberry Shampoo
You can try out many other organic shampoos based on your requirements.

Organic Shampoo’s

Regular oiling is very good but do not over do it.Apply oil on the scalp leave it for an hour apply some hair pack and then shampoo it.
I use the Bajaj almond oil or Parachute coconut oil.

7.Hair Pack:
I make my own hair pack.My current favorite Hair pack
Henna powder (organic)=1 tbsp
Methi powder                = 1 tbsp
Amla Powder                 = 1 tspn
Egg                                 = 1 (only white)
Lemon                            = 1/2
Mix all these together in a medium consistency leave it overnight to soak.Apply it in the morning and wash it off after 20 minutes.

Hair Pack

If you are trying all the above things for at-least 2months and still there is no change in your hairfall or texture then consult a doctor for supplements.
I am currently using a multi-vitamin supplement from a brand called ‘ON Multi-Vitamin for Women’.
You can also use Biotin tablets which help in reducing hairfall.

My diet has changed for the better lately and it seems to be helping my hair grow. I'm also taking hair vitamins I've found on amazon called Hairfluence, my hair is so sleek and shiny now! I need to try making my own hair pack too 🙂

Great tips! Besides diet, I think what you use on your hair makes a difference. I have used Avalon products, but not the others. I will have to check them out!
